Hank Keeling, Associate Professor of Art Emeritus at the University of Charleston, has been creating thought-provoking art through six decades and is one of West Virginia’s most accomplished modern artists.

Hank studied design at The Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and received his Masters in Fine Art from Marshall University. His study of art and painting has also included the Hans Hoffman School of Fine Art and working with Bernard Klonis of the New York Art Student League, Reuben Tam of the Brooklyn Museum of Art and Leo Manso & Victor Kandell of the Provincetown Workshop in Provincetown, Massachusetts.

Having exhibited in galleries from New York to West Virginia Keeling has won awards from the Brooklyn Museum School, West Virginia Arts and Humanities Council and the West Virginia Allied Artists to name but a few.

Hank Keeling’s work is held public and private collections throughout the world including the Edward Albee Collection, Consolidated Gas Corporation, Huntington Galleries and the Parkersburg Art Center.
